Luna the Rabbit Postgirl & Krita on Kickstarter

Hello guys, sorry for being inactive for such a long while. I was occupied by my job and the preparation of my project. Now I’m sort of having a summer holiday, I can finally draw something, a original furry character, which I haven’t done for a very long time.

This is Luna Artemis, a rabbit girl working for the local post office of a small prairie village. The first picture is the new design (2014 now) of her being 16, the second one is the old design (2008) of her being 8. I used very different art style on these two versions, which makes the comparison kind of interesting. :)

Tools used:

Krita needs your help on Kickstarter!

Krita is a free and open source digital painting app that I use to create all my artwork since 2012. It has a smooth and responsive brush I like very much. I support Krita mainly because of the free software license it uses. Such a license grants people the freedom to use, study, modify and redistribute Krita and its source code, for now and forever.

Krita’s develop team is now on Kickstarter.com, trying to raise the funding to accelerate its development, aiming to realize many new features including OSX support. Me and many others will be very thankful for your support for the freedom of artists and free software development! :)
